Los Angeles International Airport is a huge complex of airline terminals, parking lots, car rental agencies, and hotels. The Metro Green Line serves none of them. As close as it gets is 2 miles (3 km) from the terminals. The Green Line could have been very convienient but having to transfer to a shuttle negates most of its usefulness. Shuttles runabout every 15 minutes and it takes 15 minutes to get to the Aviation station. Waits for the Green Line trains can be as long as 20 minutes.
